josiah pila
With roots in high school wrestling and a brief background in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Coach Josiah discovered his passion for Muay Thai after training intensely under the guidance of Coach Nick.
What began as 4–5 hours a day of MMA evolved into a full commitment to Muay Thai, a discipline he has now trained in for over four years. Known for his technical and fundamentals-driven approach, Coach Josiah emphasizes mastering the basics—particularly striking mechanics and footwork—before moving on to advanced techniques.
His coaching style is both demanding and compassionate, pushing students to reach their full potential while adapting his instruction to their unique strengths and abilities.
He believes in building fighters from the ground up, guided by the principle found in Matthew 7:24–27: a strong foundation ensures long-term success.
Tommy le
Thomas Le’s martial arts journey began with Tae Kwon Do and Karate, but after taking a break, he discovered Muay Thai and instantly fell in love with the style. Combining elements from all three disciplines, Thomas developed a unique hybrid approach to training.
As a coach, Thomas emphasizes the importance of fundamental balance, footwork, and distance. He believes that without these core elements, flashy techniques lack effectiveness. These are his favorite aspects to work on, as they are the foundation of solid Muay Thai skills.
Thomas is known for his attention to detail and his analytical mindset. He approaches coaching like an engineer, always questioning why techniques work, how to set them up, and how to defend them. This allows his students to truly understand the concepts they’re learning and apply them effectively.
Community is at the heart of his coaching philosophy. Thomas creates a supportive environment where students feel like family, encouraging each other to push through challenges. He motivates by putting students in the spotlight, using positive peer pressure to drive results.
With a focus on simplicity, Thomas ensures his students first master posture and balance before moving on to more complex techniques. His structured approach helps them understand, execute, and defend each skill, setting them up for long-term success in Muay Thai.
